They require a good knowledge of scenarios, the most common problems and random events that can occur during the game. Some of the achievements force you to complete these scenarios with very demanding objectives, e.g.
Each of the main scenarios has to be completed a few or even a dozen times. This requires perfect planning and reacting to emerging problems. The most difficult versions of these achievements force to survive a hundred days. The second group of problematic trophies is those related to the Endurance Mode. In Survivor Mode, the game also increases the overall difficulty level, making it harder to find resources or maintain the health of residents. You aren't able to save manually which makes it impossible to go back and fix the wrong decisions. The first group of challenging trophies is related to the Survivor Mode. This is primarily due to the fact that the game itself is complex and forces you to deal with various problems - blizzards, diseases, heating problems or food shortages. They are all worth 1,000 Gamerscore points. The Xbox One version has 37 achievements. The PlayStation 4 version has 38 trophies - 1 platinum, 5 gold, 4 silver and 28 bronze. The remaining 26 achievements are related to DLCs - Survivor Mode, The Fall of Winterhome and Endless Mode. 49 achievements are related to the main content of the game.
